Rodeo Birthday Cake

The new year brought this fun, new challenge. The cake was chocolate, the frosting is vanilla buttercream, and all of the decorations were made with fondant. The shield was all hand cut using a picture that the client sent and I enlarged to fit the size of cake that they chose. The ropes were hand-twisted strings of fondant. This cake was 19×14 and would serve 24 guests.
